Learn to drive with our driving school serving the greater Cape Cod area.
We offer the 30-hour driver education class in-person and virtually with a live instructor. On weekdays, receive door-to-door service for driving lessons from the Bridges to the Orleans Rotary.
Students must be 15 years and 9 months old to start the driver education program. The classroom session comes first. After they turn 16, they can get their permit from the RMV after passing the permit exam. Once they have their permit, they can begin driving. Teens must complete 18 hours in the car (12 driving, 6 observation) with a driving school and 40 hours of driving with their family. Only after they have held their permit for six months and finished driver's education may they take a road test to earn their driver's license.

Tests will be Monday- Friday. If you are a high school student, we will do our best to make sure you have a morning appointment time resulting in missing less school.
MAKE SURE YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO CANCEL. The sponsorship fee paid to Grand Prix is nonrefundable and non-transferable. If you cannot make a date given, regardless of the reason, there will be no refunds. Please get in touch with the office about a general timeline if there is a scheduling conflict BEFORE enrolling for this service.
The nonrefundable fee includes the use of the Grand Prix car and instructor as sponsor for the test itself, a 30 minute warmup on the morning of the test, and the convenience fee charged by the RMV for off-hours tests.
Please spend some time practicing your maneuvers and developing good driving habits, according to the Grand Prix Procedure Sheet. Come prepared to take the test.
On the day of the test, you will MEET OUTFRONT OF THE YARMOUTH RMV with your printed application and permit for your warm-up lesson. We will notify you of your appointment time by phone. You must not be late. If you are late, you forfeit your warm-up lesson and any refund.
